Main features: - its versatility, compactness and ease of use allow for minimising the time, material and space used during operations; - it allows for the ascent of a rope in compliance with the EN 567 / EN 12841-B standards (ascender mode); it can be used as a simple pulley for lifting or transferring a load in compliance with the EN 12278 standard (pulley mode); - the integrated ball bearing pulley can be used as a direct return for the facilitated ascent of a rope or for lifting a person without the use of additional connectors (blocker/pulley mode); - it allows for the direct recovery of a load, the creation of pulleys and the lifting or self-lifting of a person, for example in the event of a fall into a crevasse (recovery pulley mode); - in pulley mode, the rope is free to slide in both directions, while in recovery pulley mode, it is free to slide in one direction and locks in the opposite direction; - in recovery pulley mode, the recovered load can be lowered by acting on the dedicated lanyard connected to the device's cam; the ergonomic opening via an intuitive button allows for quick installation on the rope in the desired mode, even when wearing gloves or in adverse conditions; - equipped with a steel cam with teeth that protects the rope from wear but is equally effective in locking onto it. The cam also has two grooves to reduce mud accumulation and maintain an effective lock on the rope in any conditions (muddy, frozen rope, etc.). Warning! This product is not a fall arrest device (EN 353-2 / EN 12841-A) nor can it be used for self-belaying while climbing.
