The ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester is designed to facilitate the user's maneuvers during rope ascents. In normal use, the device slides freely along the rope, without any manual intervention, to accompany the user as they move. In the event of an impact or sudden acceleration, the fall arrester locks onto the rope and stops the user. The integrated locking function allows the user to stop the device to reduce the length of the fall. The connection lever makes the system unlosable when passing intermediate anchors. The ASAP LOCK is used with an ASAP SORBER or ASAP SORBER AXESS energy absorber for working away from the rope.
